As one of the latest place in the world touched by coffee plant, Kenya are full of coffee which have travelled around the world and mutated accordingly. Arrived back on its African homeland through Kenya, they fit like a glove with the perfectly rich soil around Mount Kenya. Other than Kenya’s common cross-genetical varieties ‘SL 28’ & ‘SL-34’, this lot also features the leaf-rust-resistant Ruiru 11 variety. While Kenya coffee is well-known by its ‘wild acidity’, this lot comes just clean & neat. A distinct profile, that’s uncommon even among greatest coffees from Embu region.
When the travelling beans meets the grace of Mount Kenya, featuring highly evolved variety, that one-of-a-kind taste is born.
